The U•Center 2 office building, which has a GLA of 35,000 square meters, has been finalized. Two years after the start of the construction works, the second phase of the U•Center project in the Tineretului area of Bucharest is ready to welcome its tenants, companies that have signed contracts for office and retail space of almost 28,000 square meters.

In 2023, leases were signed in U•Center 2 for more than 25,000 square meters of office space and 2,600 square meters of retail space.

"We are proud to announce the completion of the second phase of the U•Center project, in a market context characterized this year by a significant drop in deliveries of new office space. We are pleased to have been able to adapt the project to the new requirements of the office market, given that the work style has changed significantly since 2019, the year in which construction works began on the first phase of the project, and U•Center 2 has been chosen by major companies”, said Geo Mărgescu, CEO and co-founder of Forte Partners. „U•Center 2 strengthens the business community already created in the first phase of the project and complements the range of amenities offered to both employees of tenant companies and members of the local community in the area through the retail spaces on the ground floor of the two buildings. Finally, the project has regenerated from an urban point of view Tineretului area, which today has become an important business hub bringing economic and community added value”, added Geo Mărgescu.

The first phase of the U•Center office project was completed in the third quarter of 2021, is fully leased by clients such as Booking Holdings, Endava, Lensa, Up Romania, BT, Neuroaxis, DCS plus and was sold to Pavăl Holding in November 2022.

Prior to the sale, the first phase of the project achieved LEED Platinum certification with a score of 85, one of the highest obtained in Romania for LEED v4 and WELL Health & Safety, and in February 2023 - WELL Platinum certification with a score of 91, the highest recorded in Romania for this type of certification at the time of its achievement. Forte Partners aims to obtain the same certifications for the second phase of U•Center.
