The 8,000 sqm leased by Booking Holdings in U•Center Phase 1 represents the largest leasing transaction on the Romanian office market this year and marked the 100% lease-up of the building developed by Forte Partners.

Booking Holdings inaugurated in September 2022 its Center of Excellence in the space leased by the company in U•Center Phase 1, which aims to create a flexible and inclusive workplace experience, supporting and fostering collaboration between colleagues and across the company’s brands, including, Priceline, Agoda, KAYAK, OpenTable and

The variety of different spaces, from modern collaboration zones to focus work areas and flexible seating designed for today’s hybrid working style, reflect the Center’s role as a talent hub, supporting innovation and projects powered by new and emerging technologies, according to Booking Holdings representatives. The office theme and design concepts draw on elements from different cultures and regions around the world to evoke the spirit of travel and the diversity at the heart of the Booking Holdings’ community. The Center, the first of its kind, will be an enabler of Booking Holdings’ mission to make it easier for everyone to experience the world and reflects the company’s commitment to Romania and Bucharest.


Completed in Q3 2021, the first phase of the U•Center office project obtained LEED Platinum certification with a score of85, one of the highest LEED v4 certifications obtained in Romania, and WELL Health & Safety, which certifies the sanitary safety of the building. Construction works on the second phase of the project were started in H2 2021and will be finalized in H2 2023. The two phases of U•Center have a GLA of 66,000 square meters, including a retail component on the ground floors.

U•Center is 100% powered with electricity from renewable sources, as are all the buildings in the Forte Partners current portfolio.


Forte Partners also received, at CIJ Awards2022, the awards ”Office Developer of the Year” and  ”Best Bucharest Office Development” for the Tandem Building.
